The Jedburgh Crafty Experience is part of Borders Alternative Addictions CIC. We were set up in 2019 to help and maintain peoples mental health through activities. This is easier to do in summer weather but in the dark, cold winter months this becomes more difficult. That was where the original idea came from. So when we heard that someone was closing down her craft workshop and she was keen to donate her equipment and stock to a good cause, the idea came to fruition. She also offered to volunteer in the shop. With all this positivity she was made a director of B.A.A.cic.
